ReactionGaming is not affiliated in any way with the original IW6x mod development which now known as simply IW6. We are a non-profit community that loves to mod our video games for fun and research. Our ad revenue goes out to supporting the forum hosting. The original developer known as momo5502 has been cease from future updates to this mod. But yet a 3rd party called AlterWare is continue future of this client. We are not responsible for any future RCE/exploits to the game engine and the mod has that has not yet been patched that will ruined game experience or your personal computer. Remember to backup your computer files like you should have on the first place and If you like the game. buy the game. Do not worry! So far no any RCE's have not yet sabotage this client so you should be SAFE but we will let you know if it does happen on the forums and the our discord channel but most likely new 3rd party developers will know first thing and patch them quickly before we all even know it. So just stay up to date on AlterWare's IW6 and Happy Gaming!
1. Install qBittorrent: https://www.fosshub.com/qBittorrent.html?dwl=qbittorrent_4.3.0.1_x64_setup.exe
2. Download Ghosts Torrent: IW6 Torrent
Note: We recommend a VPN so your ISP doesn't come knocking. [Torrenting] is illegal in some countries, so if you want, buying or family sharing the game on steam to get the files is also an option.
3. Download alterware-launcher.exe from github.
4. Place the alterware-launcher.exe in your game folder.
5. Run alterware-launcher.exe
6. Open the game console (hit the tilde key) ` and type

Xbox - Should be just plug & play, make sure drivers are updated & controllers work outside of ghosts.
