Solved New user, can't load bots mod

I've only started using IW4x today and wanted to try and use the bots mod. It appears in the mod list in game but once I click Launch, the game crashes. I read the game is meant to restart so I decided to wait, thinking it may just take some time to restart but after 5 minutes, it still didn't start. I would then launch the game again to see if it was enabled but nope.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yea Botwarfare. 1.3.4 version from moddb.

That version is supposed to work. Never used it myself so I'm not completely sure. Might check the iw4x discord or try to contact the mod author.

If your game is crashing when you're trying to load the mod, try this :

- Create a shortcut of iw4x.exe
- Right click on the shortcut, go to Properties
- Add the following in the "Target" field : +set fs_game "mods/YourModName" (of course you'll have to replace YourModName by the name of the mod)
- Launch the game through ths shortcut, the mod will be loaded automatically

This prevents crashes when trying to load a mod. Give this a try and see what happens, it should fix your problem.
